Dental Care That Fits Your Workday — Lunch and After-Work Appointments
Derek, a lawyer at a King Street firm, needed a filling replaced. His previous dentist was in Burlington—a 25-minute drive each way. To make a 2pm appointment, he had to leave work at 1:15, drive to Burlington, sit in the chair, drive back, and return by 3:45. Half his afternoon gone for a 45-minute procedure.
Now Derek walks here. His appointments take exactly the procedure time plus ten minutes of walking. He books cleanings during his lunch hour. He schedules fillings at 4:30pm and is home by 5:30.
Hours that work for downtown professionals:
-
Monday through Thursday: 9:30am to 6:00pm — early morning and after-work slots available
-
Saturday: 9:30am to 5:00pm — for appointments without missing work
-
Same-day emergency appointments available for downtown workers who need immediate care
Lunch-hour appointments: Book between 11:30am and 1:30pm. A cleaning takes 45–60 minutes—you’re back at your desk within the hour. A filling takes 30–45 minutes. Tell our front desk team you need a lunch appointment when you call and we’ll schedule accordingly.
After-work appointments: Our 4:30pm and 5:00pm slots book quickly. If you need a consistent after-work time, book your next appointment before you leave—most of our downtown patients rebook every six months for the same time slot.
Insurance and CDCP: We accept all major dental insurance plans and direct-bill where possible. We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan. If you have a CDCP card, we verify your eligibility before treatment so you know exactly what’s covered. See our CDCP page for details.

Arriving: Walk from your office. If you’re driving, call ahead for parking directions. Check in at the front desk on the ground floor—no stairs, no elevator, fully accessible.
Paperwork: New patient forms take five minutes. If you have insurance or CDCP, we verify your coverage while you wait. You’ll know your coverage before treatment begins.
Your appointment: Dr. Firas or Dr. Abeer examines your teeth, discusses any concerns, and recommends treatment if needed. If you came for a cleaning, Maryanne Giudice handles that during the same visit. A new patient exam with cleaning takes about 90 minutes—we’ll confirm the timing when you book.
Walking out: You’re back at your desk or on your way home, treatment complete, next appointment booked.
